Maintenance Technician

Position Location: Oxbow, Saskatchewan
Key responsibilities will include:
To provide quality repair and maintenance services to facilities and equipment employing both preventative and reactive measures not being limited to hands on, but also management of time, tasks and resources.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An understanding of how 3 phase electricity works
- A basic understanding on how to do heavy duty mechanical
- Readiness to get hands dirty
- Needs to be able to take something apart and put it back together without any extra parts and with everything working
- An understanding of compressed air and tools that work with it
- A diagnostics background – Be able to be given a problem and figure out what is wrong and how to fix it.
- Must be able to work alone with minimal direction
- Must have completed some kind of schooling after grade 12
- Loyalty
- Willing to work till the tasks are completed for the day (overtime if required).
- Leadership skills an asset
- Basic computer skills an asset
- Readiness to change focus on a moment notice
