We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated painter possessing a strong working knowledge of blast and paint processes and related products in the position of Sandblaster.

Position Location: Oxbow, Saskatchewan

Key responsibilities will include:

The Blaster is responsible for cleaning and refurbishing metal, industrial equipment and other surfaces using specialized equipment and techniques. This position is responsible for the maintenance and operation of sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces for the next step in the production process.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 2 years related experience in sandblasting or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of corrosion-control methods and processes.
3. Knowledge of controlling, adjusting, starting and stopping sandblasting equipment.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read blueprint instructions.
5. Possesses strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
7. Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
