We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Recruitment Coordinator, possessing a solid business acumen and strong ability to develop a robust talent pipeline. The successful candidate will lead all recruitment activities, from sourcing candidates, interviewing, presenting offers and onboarding activities in alignment with company procedures.

The Recruitment Coordinator will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. In the position as the Recruitment Coordinator, you will drive the full recruitment cycle from sourcing candidates, interviewing, presenting offers, negotiating, and onboarding all new hires.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Completion of post secondary education in a related field or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Excellent listening skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  5. Ability to read and display positive body language
  6. Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
  7. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative – diligent in communication follow-up.
  8. Ability to work in a confidential capacity with a high level of professionalism.
  9. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  10. Critical thinker, capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, thriving in a complex environment and accountable for all assignments, with attention to detail.
  11. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
  12. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  13. Proficient with using various platforms to conduct virtual interviews – Teams, Zoom, Skype, etc.
  14. Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Applications.
  15. Knowledge of a fabrication and/or manufacturing and/or construction environment.
  16. Occasional travel may be required.
